Event Name: Register now for Science + Reading for K-3 teachers

Science + Reading is a program developed by CRCST to provide professional development to K-3 teachers, an underserved segment of the teaching profession in our area lately. This hybrid, online and face-to-face opportunity will begin on the day of the Fall Conference (Oct. 24 at the Dolan Science and Technology Center on the John Carroll University Campus-directions and campus map at www.jcu.edu.) Registrants will attend the concurrent sessions offered at the conference in the morning and meet with instructor Renata Brown in the afternoon to learn how to take a pre-test and learn the computer access needed for the online portion of the course. The cost is $30 per person but the benefits are worth far more in terms of returns on the outlay as well as improvement of your craft in using standards-based, exceptional science and reading curriculum materials and methods. Optional non-degree graduate credit is available for you to purchase from Ashland University. Event Name: STEM Schools Student Lottery - Round 1
