Greetings all,

On behalf of Governor Strickland, C.J. Prentiss and the entire effort to Close the Achievement Gap, thank you again for your participation in attending the Columbus Conference on May 30th. It is time to implement the next phase of the initiative as you are invited to a local planning session at the Barbara Byrd-Bennett Professional Development Center at 11404 Lakeshore Blvd. in Bratenahl on Tuesday, July 10th, 4-6pm.

As community leaders, stakeholders and concerned constituents, you will receive pertinent information as it relates to the Northeast Ohio approach to Closing the Achievement Gap and Increase the High School Graduation Rate for African-American Males as a follow-up. Also detailed in this meeting will be the RFA process and an opportunity to discuss and set forth strategies as it relates to the Cleveland area.

Please fill free to give me a call with any questions as we look forward to your attendance and continued support and participation as we address this serious matter.

Regards,
